The easiest way to find scholarly sources on a variety of topics is to search in the library catalog, Primo, and use one of these facets on the left side bar
- Peer-reviewed Journals ~ Note: Not 100% of these articles will be peer-reviewed -- for example, many journals have a book reviews section, and these reviews do not go through the same peer-review process as the articles -- but the vast majority of them will be.
- Material Type : Books ~ Most books in the Grinnell Library are academic scholarly books, if unsure, check the credentials of the author - usually listed in the book.
If you are unsure if a source is scholarly, check with your professor or a librarian.
