Designed to meet the needs of the research community worldwide, this online portal offers quick and easy access to the collections of the 48 National Libraries of Europe and leading European Research Libraries. Users can cross-search and reuse over 28,000,000 digital items and 175,000,000 bibliographic records. To facilitate further research, links are also provided to other websites in the Europeana group.

Provides information on, and access to, the digitized version of the Library of Congress's primary-source collections on American history and culture, including photographs, documents, sound recordings, and motion pictures.

The Library of Congress offers maps from its collection in the categories of: Places in the News, Cities and Towns, Cultural Landscapes, Conservation and Environment, Military Battles and Campaigns, Discovery and Exploration, Transportation and Communication, and General.

Provides digital images of artwork and descriptive articles about the materials in the U.S. National Gallery of Art.

The Grinnell College Museum of Art collection includes over 4000 works of art, featuring works on paper (prints, drawings, and photographs), many in portfolios. The collection spans Medieval to contemporary art, with a strength in 20th and 21st-century European and American art. The collection also includes paintings, sculptures, and ceramics, along with small holdings of African, Pueblo, Seri, and Near Eastern material. Faulconer Gallery in the Bucksbaum Center for the Arts serves as the museum's display space. A separate print room is located in Burling Library for study of the collection.

The collection of the Grinnell College Museum of Art began more than a century ago. Since then, gifts, bequests, and judicious purchases with endowed acquisition funds have helped to build a collection of more than 5,000 works of art. The collection is distinguished by its works on paper by artists who have used the media for social and political commentary.

The Grinnell College Image Collection consists of more than 55,000 digitized images selected from the Kistle Slide Library, which houses approximately 100,000 slides. The library's collection reflects a general survey of world art and architecture, from pre-history to the present. Primarily it serves the Grinnell College Department of Art, but it is used in the support of teaching and research across the curriculum.

Digital library that archives texts, audio, music, moving images, software, videos/films, and web pages from the Internet for researchers, historians, and scholars, as well as the general public. Also provides specialized services for adaptive reading and information access for the blind and other persons with disabilities.

Database of digital images with catalog records from the Prints & Photographs Division of the Library of Congress, featuring photographs, fine and popular prints and illustrations, posters, and architectural and engineering drawings. The Library of Congress provides public access to these materials to enhance education and scholarship. Thumbnails are provided for images with rights issues.

More than 180,000 of the items in the NYPL Digital Collections are in the public domain. Everyone has the freedom to enjoy and reuse these materials in almost limitless ways. The Library now makes it possible to download such items in the highest resolution available directly from the Digital Collections website.
